FAQs
Q1. What is the digital format of a PowerPoint presentation? Is the file extension pptx a digital format? Can I convert a PowerPoint sheet to PDF and upload it?
Yes, the ".pptx" file is the standard digital format for PowerPoint presentations and is perfectly acceptable. Alternatively, you may convert your PowerPoint slides to PDF and upload that version instead, if you prefer.
Q2. Do I have to use the file I uploaded to the shared space for my presentation, or can I change it up until the day of the presentation?
You may update your presentation file until the day of your presentation. We recommend uploading the final version in advance via the shared space, but you are also welcome to bring the updated version on a USB drive to the session.
Q3. On the day of the presentation, will I be using my own computer to operate it myself, or will the files be transferred to a computer provided by the conference and then operated by a conference staff member?
On the day of your presentation, you will use a computer provided by the conference. Presenters will operate their own slides directly. A technician will be available in each room for support, but we kindly ask you to upload and bring your file in a compatible format (PowerPoint or PDF) to ensure smooth operation.
