1. General Guidelines for Abstract Submission

• Title of the presentation/poster
• Full name(s) of the author(s)
• Institutional affiliation and contact email
• Keywords (5 terms defining the content of the research)
• Abstract (maximum 300 words, including objectives, methodology, expected results, and conclusions)
• File format: PDF; Font: Times New Roman; Size: 12; Line spacing: 1.5; Justified text
• Language: Submissions are accepted in Catalan, Spanish, or English
• Author requirements: There is no limit to the number of co-authors per proposal. The first author must be an early-career researcher, meaning they must not hold a PhD title or must have obtained it less than one year ago. Co-authors must also be in a similar stage of their research career.

2. Specific Guidelines for Traditional Sessions

• Presentations must align with one of the five thematic areas of the conference:
  • Biomarkers and archaeobotany
  • Palaeoanthropology and primatology
  • Experimental archaeology and taphonomy
  • Fauna and lithics
  • Geoarchaeology and spatial analyses

• Abstract structure: In addition to the general submission requirements, abstracts must include an additional section (maximum 150 words) explaining how the research relates to the other discipline within the session. Special consideration will be given to interdisciplinary reflection and the creation of synergies between research fields.
• Session organization: Accepted abstracts will be grouped by topic and assigned by the Scientific Committee to one of the established sessions. Proposals outside these five themes will not be accepted.

3. Specific Guidelines for Poster Sessions

• Posters may explore any topic, as long as it is related to the general theme of the conference and fits within its chronological scope. In addition to the required general information, abstracts that include a short section (maximum 150 words) explaining how the work can be connected to another discipline will be positively valued. Special consideration will be given to interdisciplinary reflection and the creation of synergies between different fields of study. 

• Poster dimensions and format:
• Recommended size: A0 vertical (841 × 1189 mm)
• Text must be legible from at least 1 meter away
• The use of visual elements is encouraged to facilitate communication
• Poster presentation:
• Posters will be displayed throughout the conference in a designated space.
• There will be specific sessions where authors must be present next to their posters to explain their research and answer attendees' questions.
